Sometimes the most powerful career paths aren’t the ones we plan—but instead are the ones to which our choices, values, and circumstances take us. This week, Tracey Doyle of Arbonne shared how meaningful choices at key times have led her into a life of purpose, wellness, and meaningful impact.
Tracey, our group’s go-to expert in nutrition and wellness, started her story today with mention of her Michigan roots and her high school sweetheart, now husband, Jeff. After following Jeff’s work through North Carolina and Kentucky, where she built a career in sonography, they were eventually able to return to Michigan with their growing family of two and eventually three kids.
Though offered a great role in the University of Michigan system upon her return, she took a different path, joining Arbonne and giving it her full professional energy from there forward. It was a company whose focus on clean products and empowering others resonated deeply with her own values, and it worked great in accommodating her lifestyle as a mom.
Through that decision, Tracey has built a thriving business and a strong community of (mostly) women committed to health, confidence, and balance in life. Through that work, she’s also had opportunities to give back in powerful ways—from supporting relief efforts in Haiti, where she continues to sponsor a young boy named Kenny, to helping organizations combat human trafficking and child exploitation.
In addition to her own work, Tracey highlighted Arbonne’s company commitments to transparency and sustainability—from plant-based ingredients and scientific testing to responsible manufacturing standards that exceed industry safety thresholds. Arbonne’s independent consultant model has the capacity to create both flexibility and residual income while promoting these values, through ongoing product sales and team collaboration.
Beyond Arbonne, Tracey and Jeff now operate another business, Salem Storage & Warehouse Complex, and are preparing for their next adventure—launching 4 Points Trucking, which they plan to pursue in “retirement”—actively seeing the country together while doing some business along the way.
Tracey’s story reminded us that the most rewarding careers are often the ones built on conviction and courage—the courage to sometimes take a different path.
