Happy Gut. Happy Mind. Happy Skin.
Those three states are universal goals for anyone who happens to possess any of those parts, i.e. everyone. But how best to achieve these goals?
Our feature presenter this week—Arbonne consultant and our skincare and cosmetics professional, Nikki Calloway—has some wonderful plant-based solutions!
Having both: firsthand experience with all the solutions she shared and working daily with industrial chemicals in a logistical and compliance capacity—she’s a trustworthy and immensely-knowledgeable source about healthier skin and cosmetic living.
Today she shared why she believes that sitting critically at the center of that process of maximizing mind-body-gut health—are plants:
In 1975, professional chemist and cosmetics executive Petter Mørck started to worry about the safety of the many chemicals in the products his company had on the market, and started to wonder about this very thing. For the following 5 years, him and a team of experts worked relentlessly on this question.
Over the course of that time, Mørck’s team discovered that many of the outcomes from cosmetic products that people were seeking out, that had been addressed with highly-processed and artificial-chemical products, could be similarly achieved with natural plant products. Oftentimes, these plant-based solutions were superior to their artificial chemical counterparts because they provided the intended benefit, with fewer side effects and were much less harsh on sensitive or aging skin.
From this discovery and intensive testing and research, in 1980, the first Arbonne product was born. Despite being based on principals employed by humans and their kin for tens of thousands of years—Arbonne’s philosophy was then somewhat rare in the beauty and cosmetics space.
Now—Arbonne provides dozens of plant-based products geared toward achieving healthy guts, minds, and skin—and Nikki is an amazing choice to speak with to make those goals a reality.
