Get Your Point Across with Thoughtful Visuals

by | Jun 14, 2023 | Member Spotlights | 0 comments

Whether it’s more or less than one thousand—pictures are indeed worth countless words, sometimes transcending language completely to evoke an action or feeling that no amount of ever verbiage could. Further, images do this with a striking subliminal efficiency that words again fail to adequately match. The more senses we can engage, the faster and firmer our audience receives our message.

B2B Member and art and design expert, Jeremy “Ro” Rheault of The Art Jar, delivered a compelling 10-minute presentation outlining this today. As both a teacher and a basketball coach, he recognized the impact of strong visuals in effectively conveying information and fostering understanding. By employing visual aids in his past work, he effectively communicated strategies, plays, and progression concepts to his students and athletes—resulting in improved experiences and performance.

Beyond education and sports, strong visuals are equally valuable in the games of Life and of Business Communications. Whether it’s a sales pitch, a marketing campaign, or a corporate presentation—thoughtful visuals can captivate the audience, enhance message retention, and leave a lasting impression. Visuals such as infographics, charts, and compelling imagery can simplify complex data, highlight key points, and evoke an emotional response, making the information more accessible and memorable.

To conclude his presentation, Jeremy shared some of his recent work, including that for another group member, Nikki Calloway:

With the strong visuals Jeremy presents across the web, his social media, and in our meetings of his amazing handmade wall art, we’ve been able to deliver magnitudes more referrals his way. I
