When we eventually pass on from this world, most of us will want for two major things:
- To be remembered well.
- That those we care for are comfortable and protected.
Today’s presenter and group estate planning professional George Remy of George Remy Law, took a special angle on this, sharing the culmination of a project he’s worked closely on recently with another member.
With a love for fishing above most things, George has leveraged his daughter’s recent art classes taken with retired art teacher, professional artist, and fellow group member Jeremy Rheault, to also work with Jeremy, AKA “Ro”, on a magnificent replica of a taxidermy’d piece of his greatest freshwater catch (a 40” Northern Pike out of a small 60 acre SE Michigan lake!). Having no formal art training at all, and only the available instruction from Ro, the outcome was incredibly impressive!

After his brief art show-and-tell, George veered to take some time to answer any legacy, will, trust, or estate questions we had as a group.
In all, George’s off-the-cuff knowledge and ability to speak are always impressive. His presentation today served as a great reminder of the legacies we can create beyond our portfolios, trusts, and bequests—legacies of memories and growth made alongside the people we care about most.
If you’re looking for estate help and want to be treated as a human being with genuine interests and dreams for your family—connect with George asap. For another great presenter and to network with over a dozen other local professionals, join us next week!
