What You Know In Your Gut

by | Aug 2, 2023 | Member Spotlights | 0 comments

“Knowing in your gut,” is a common way to express a feeling of knowing that can’t otherwise be easily described. But, what is it that “you know in your gut?” The answer is—more than you think.

This week’s presenter, group designated nutrition & wellness professional, Tracey Doyle of Arbonne, shared knowledge of just how interdependent our gut health is with various other parts of our body, by way of a fun Feud-Style Team True or False game.

From the questions—did you know for instance that there are a higher count of bacterial cells in your body than ‘you’ cells? Most of those bacteria live with us in tranquility and even serve helpful functions like nutrient processing or fighting harmful bacteria that want to attack or infiltrate their home (you).

Optimal gut health facilitates the best environment for our friendly gut bacteria to thrive and perform these functions.

If neglected, poor gut health will directly affect our minds, skin, and energy/hormonal levels—and can lead to issues like joint pain, sleeplessness, fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, mood swings, and worse.

Thankfully to combat this and facilitate a busy lifestyle, Tracey’s company offers GreenSynergy Elixer—an all-in-one energy shot blended with phytonutrients engineered to keep your gut happy and healthy. Connect with Tracey with any questions or if you’d like to try this product! She’s always brimming with helpful nutritional information.

Visit us next week to connect with local professionals and hear more great presentations like Tracey’s and become a member to eventually deliver one of your own!
